Comfort Zone Camp is the nation's largest bereavement camp for kids, providing FREE year-round weekend camps for kids who have lost a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. CZC has served grieving families from 47 states, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The camps are held year-round in Virginia, California, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Comfort Zone Camps create an environment where grieving children can have fun and break the isolation grief often brings.

Total pledged for fundraising so far =$25,000 = enough to sponsor one weekend camp!!

Also, we have some exciting possibilities in terms of sponsorship....will keep everyone posted as things finalize!! 


The Planning Committee had a video conference last night and all agreed that we are going to try our darndest to get Sara Haines from the Today Show and Jillian Michaels to run with us or be involved in some way with CZC Runs Disney! Can you imagine how much their help/participation could help spread the word about CZC for grieving families across the country? It would be amazing!

The CZC Runs Disney Team is growing!

As of August, 6, we have: 
18 confirmed participants
6 for the Full Marathon
8 for the Half Marathon
4 Cheerleaders (1 coming down to Orlando to cheer us on, the rest cheering from home)
Total fundraising pledges are $20,500!! 

Yay! THANK YOU to everyone who is already registered to participate!!  And a reminder that the deadline to sign-up for the Road-Trip from Richmond to Orlando is September 1.

Update!



So we have 11 confirmed participants so far...
4 for the Full Marathon
5 for the Half Marathon
2 Cheerleaders! 
Total pledged to fundraise: $11,500!

We had our first NY volunteer and Camper Parent sign up!  We are on our way but definitely need more amazing CZC people on our team if we're going to meet our $50,000 fundraising goal.
