Ashlee's Reflections

Hello blog followers! I'm getting ready to head back to Richmond after an amazing weekend here at Disney! I accomplished a half marathon which I have not done in a long time... but more than anything I raised enough money to send at least two children to CZC for a weekend of healing.  CZC is a place that I wish was around when I was growing up so that I would not have felt as if I were the only person who had experienced the loss of a sibling.  As I ran this weekend I remembered my brother as well as all the children I have met through CZC. These children gave me the motivation to keep moving and to continue to run.  I'm sad for the weekend to end but I'm thankful for all the experiences I have had.  I ran so that others have a safe place to grieve and heal. Thank you to everyone who has supported me especially my family and teammates, I love you all!

PS I hope to return to Disney one day and get "goofy"
