Comfort Zone Camp is the nation's largest bereavement camp for kids, providing FREE year-round weekend camps for kids who have lost a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. CZC has served grieving families from 47 states, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The camps are held year-round in Virginia, California, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Comfort Zone Camps create an environment where grieving children can have fun and break the isolation grief often brings.

I did it!

Well, I finished! 26.2 miles complete. It's not the best time but since this is my first marathon, it's a personal best! Since this will be my last marathon, it will remain a personal best! I am sore and really looking forward to the hot tub tonight.

It was such an amazing feeling crossing the finish line. There was a choir near the finish and they were singing on of my favorite songs. Magic. Then at the end of bag check waiting for me was the fantastic Maggie. She greeted me with the biggest hug ever.

What a way to end the race. It was nice that all of us were first time marathoners. We have turbo bonded like we do at camp. I would not have had it any other way.
